Disable Browser Notifications In Chrome

Hello and welcome to C-Sharp Corner videos. My name is Mahesh Chand. I'm a

founder of C-Sharp Corner. C-Sharp Corner is a community website for software

developers and database developers. In this video we are going to see how we can

disable browser notification in Chrome browser. Browser notifications are usually pop-ups when you see probably coming from

site on your laptop or computer or PC. Usually you may have subscribed to these

websites and when they publish a new content you will get a notification

So let's open our Chrome browser. If you have a Chrome browser open, open Chrome

browser and then you're going to do is go to settings. You can open browser

settings here by clicking on this little three dots icon and go to settings

faster ways you can also type direct command direct command here in Chrome

settings and then any settings actually you go to you will see the URL changing

here in this URL text box so you can also direct type it there so in settings if you go at the bottom you will see this advanced

and that's where we are really going to find our notification settings. In advance, if you come down

you will see this content settings. In content settings, we can see all the settings related

cookies, location, camera, microphone and notifications. You can also see JavaScript and other things here. Ads, pop-ups, everything else. So right now our

goal is to focus on notifications. Click on notifications. What you will see is

there are two areas. One is block. These are the block websites block URLs for

notifications for on my machine. And if you go down you will see

allow these are the URLs and websites they can send me notifications right now

in my Chrome browser so if you want to remove one of those or block one of them

all you gotta do is click on this more more actions icon and once you click on

this more actions you will see block edit remove if you want to just remove

one of those just click on remove and you will be done that's all you're all
